Jaysen Durda, Massage Therapist
Jaysen (he/him/his) is a graduate of The Massage School in Saint Paul, where he completed an accredited 600-hour certificate program in Massage Therapy. He has experience with various therapeutic massage techniques including Swedish, trigger point, deep pressure, deep tissue, dermoneuromodulation, positional release and more. His massage style can be described as slow and deliberate, trauma-informed, and is geared towards relaxation and pain relief.
Jaysen identifies as queer, and while he is comfortable working with all identities and body types, he is especially excited to work with fellow LGBTQIA+ folks. His experience and research have shown that massage can help one feel more congruent, connected, and grounded in their body, and sharing common identity with your practitioner can strengthen and deepen massage-based healing.
Jaysen is continuing to seek out additional bodywork-related education including energy healing modalities, lessening scar tissue adhesions, furthering his positional release experience, hospice massage, pet massage, and he is looking forward to attending a training in Lymphatic Drainage scheduled for this spring.
